They gave a very informative talk and demonstration with members showing a keen interest.
Alison and Bill talked about the history of butter making evolving from small farms to production today, Their product is still hand-made and they now sell butter to a variety of customers including famous chefs, shops and restaurants.
They have now extended their range of products to include fudge.
Margaret Workman gave a vote of thanks and the ladies had an opportunity to purchase butter and fudge to sample for themselves.
The competition “A Butter Dish” was won by Maybeth McQuitty; second, Anna Simms; third, Margaret Workman.
