Christmas craft fair in Whitehead

The East Antrim branch of Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI (formerly the Northern Ireland Leukaemia Research Fund) will hold its annual Christmas craft fair on Saturday, November 8.

The event will take place in the Brown Memorial Halls, Kings Road (beside the Presbyterian Church), Whitehead, from 10.30am until 5.00pm.

It will include a range of stalls and gifts to prepare for Christmas including jewellery, scarves, photography, knitwear, wall hangings. collectibles, quilting and decoupage.

The fair will also feature home baking, jams and jellies, ceramics, linens, books, woodturning, handmade candles, felting, confectionery and Christmas decorations.

An admission of £1.00 will be charged (accompanied children free). Tea and coffee will be on sale all day.

Last year, the branch’s highly successful Christmas craft fair raised approximately £2,000 for research into leukaemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers,

The research is carried out at the Queen’s University Belfast Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology, City Hospital, Belfast.
