Club launches its new programme

East Antrim Rambling Club has issued its new programme of Autumn and Winter walks for October 2014 to March 2015.

The packed programme provides walks on Sundays and Wednesdays throughout the six-month period.

The club organises a wide variety of walks for each Sunday throughout the year, commencing at various starting points at 10:30am and usually finishing around 4pm. These include walks in the Antrim Hills, the Mournes and the Sperrins, as well as forest and coastal walks.

In autumn and winter shorter walks are organised for the second and fourth Wednesday mornings of each month. These start at 10:30am at a designated point, usually in the south Antrim, Belfast or North Down area, and last no more than two hours. In spring and summer the walks are of similar length, covering every Wednesday evening and starting at 7pm .

The club is keen to attract new members and is always ready to welcome anyone wishing to try out one of the walks on the programme.
