Committee gives go-ahead for new cemetery signage
A council committee has agreed that new signage should be erected at Carnmoney Cemetery to let people know that it contains “graves of veterans of World Wars 1 and 2 and subsequent conflicts”.
At Monday night’s (December 15) Leisure Committee meeting, members were informed that the signs - an addition to the existing Commonwealth War Graves sign at the cemetery - were requested by some local veterans and their families.
