Council bids for Grow Wild funding
The council has applied to the Big Lottery-supported Grow Wild programme for £8,000 of funding for two environmental initiatives.
The Flowers in Memory community project will involve the planting of wild flowers in rural cemeteries, while Food in Parks is a grow-your-own scheme within Sixmilewater Park and along the Newtownabbey Way.
