Councillor's thanks for sympathy calls

SIR, This is a letter of thanks to all the neighbours and friends, also all those who sent letters to let me know of their concern when those criminals who were prepared to commit murder, broke my windows with large pieces of rock missing my head by inches a few weeks ago.

All expressed their concern and condemnation to Beth and myself.

Also, a special thanks to Rev. Patrick Barton who called and prayed with us although I am not a member of his church.

After over 50 years as a councillor I would never have expected this to happen to me as I have served all of the community very well during that period.

I now offer 1000 reward to anyone who can provide proof of who organised and who carried out this criminal act and which leads to a conviction.
