Dublin Championship successes for Georgia
A young Carrickfergus dancer has enjoyed success at the Dublin Irish Dance Championships.
Carrickfergus College year 8 pupil Georgia Purdy secured two first place finishes, a second and a third in a range of different dances as well as a fourth and fifth podium place.
A statement from the school added: “Huge congratulations to Georgia as these kinds of outcomes can only be achieved through commitment, dedication, practice and discipline. She is an example to us all.”
