DUP comments on TUV selection ‘ironic’
I WAS somewhat bemused to read Alderman Paul Porter’s denouncement of the TUV as a ‘disgrace’ for failing to select their elected Lisburn Councillor to run for the Assembly.
Jonathan Craig then earnestly asks for ‘explanations’ as to why the TUV did not choose to run their Councillor for the Assembly.
And yet the DUP’s Belfast High Command have also made the exact same conclusion as the TUV: on reviewing what was available from its current crop of councillors in Lisburn it was preferable to look elsewhere.
I wonder if they note the irony of their comments?
