Extra parking charge is not welcome
YOU asked what people thought of the latest wheeze to get money out of us to park on roads which our taxes have already paid for.
Well I for one will not be using my phone to make a call to park. As well as the cost of the phone call, there is a 15p charge.
How can this be seen as a boon to motorists?
I now go to out of town shopping centres where I can park near the shops for nothing and I can get in and out without congestion and double parking by delivery lorries.
Being asked to pay more to park because I don’t have the right change is hardly likely to make me change my mind.
