Budding movie directors at Carrick’s Ulidia Integrated College have received an insight into the film industry from a past pupil.

Jack Kerr visited a year 14 Moving Image Arts class to talk to us about his experience of studying film.

Year 14 pupil Claire McGuckin writes: “He told us all about his university course and what he had to complete each semester.

“We also got to hear about his current film projects and watch a few of his successful, award-winning films which were very enjoyable.

“Later on, Jack came to us individually to give us some advice on our film this year which was very helpful. It was great having him in, as we got so much useful advice and tips for future.”
