Foodbank fillip from Carrick College charity committee
Carrickfergus Foodbank has received a funding boost from Carrickfergus College pupils.
Gwen Smyth, from the Foodbank, visited the school to receive a cheque for £800 from members of the charity committee and principal Hedley Webb.
A Carrickfergus College statement explained: “The school raised money for this particular cause last year in appreciation of the tremendous work that the charity is doing in this very community.
“It is great to see pupils engage with giving in such a generous manner.”
