I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank all of those kind people who supported the recent launch and fundraising drive of Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI.

Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI is the only charity in Northern Ireland solely dedicated to funding research into leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other related conditions.

All of the funds raised by donors remain in Northern Ireland to promote research into the causes and cure of these conditions.

To match the generous fundraising efforts we have recently invested an additional £1.5million to support scientific research over the next three years.

As part of this investment the organisation has launched a £500,000 Golden Anniversary research programme, one of the major scientific and awareness initiatives that the charity has planned for its 50th anniversary year which starts later this year.

This is an exciting time for the charity and only made possible by the support and dedication of the people involved. Thank you.
