Help support young people in Carrick

A charity that helps transform the lives of young people is appealing to organisations for under-fives in Carrickfergus to host a fundraiser.

Action for Children is teaming up with The World of Eric Carle and encouraging Sure Start centres, nurseries and groups to have a ‘Giant Wiggle’ on Thursday, March 19 to celebrate the popular children’s book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The event will bring together under-fives to wiggle along in giant caterpillar conga lines, encouraging them to help others, and opening up their imaginations through storytelling and creative activities.

“By hosting a sponsored Giant Wiggle you will help us to support vulnerable children, young people and families in the heart of communities in Carrick and across Northern Ireland.”

Action for Children provides early years child development, learning and childcare services to thousands of children and families through its 26 services in Northern Ireland.
