Job law seminar for local businesses

EMPLOYMENT law and how it impacts local businesses was on the agenda at a free training event in Limavady recently.

The Roe Valley Arts and Cultural centre hosted a Council backed seminar for local employers to keep them up to date on all current employment related legislations.

The event was attended by a range of local business owners and provided them with key knowledge and information on employment law and how it affects them.

It provided employers with the chance to talk to the experts and gave them the opportunity to expand their knowledge base on the subject.

“The event was very well attended and we had a wide variety of employers present,” said Limavady Good Relations Officer Sinead Barr.

“It is vital that local businesses have workshop likes this and as Good Relations Officer I welcome the opportunity to work with these local businesses, promoting the work of the council and Labour Relations Agency.”

The project was offered in conjunction with OFMDFM and Good Relations through Limavady Borough Council.

If you would like further information on the event you can contact Sinead Barr, Good Relations Officer at Limavady Borough Council on Tel: 028 777 60304 or email [email protected].
