Limavady parking raised at Stormont

Mr. Robinson asked: “Will the Minister examine the removal of the double yellow lines at the perimeter of the Connell Street and Newtown Square car parks in Limavady and their replacement with one- or two-hour restrictions?”

Minister Danny Kennedy responded: “I am grateful to the Member for his supplementary question. I am happy to take the issue forward and will correspond with the Member as soon as possible.”

Afterwards, Mr Robinson said: “I am aware that businesses in Limavady would see this as a positive move to encourage people to shop in the town. The need for increased footfall and spend in our businesses is well known and any move to achieve that is welcome. I await with hope the Ministers written response.”
