The website - streetsofcage.com - was officially launched by Limavady Policing and Community Safety Partnership on Friday. Images providing clues of where a training clothing stash is hidden will be posted on the Streets of Cage Facebook page on Wednesday, June 5, Thursday, June 6, Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8. All four locations are in the Limavady borough.

To be in with a chance of finding a stash, all you have to do is hit like on the Facebook page, and wait for the clues. A number of Limavady 400 t-shirts – celebrating Limavady’s 400th birthday – will also be given away.

“We are talking about top of the range hoodies and training t-shirts in a range of sizes and colours,” says Limavady PCSP Officer Ryan Tracey.

“The clues will give a small hint of where the stash is on each day… but you’ll have to be quick as there will only be two bags up for grabs on each day.”

The Partnership’s new website provides information on all youth facing projects and events targeted at young people across the Limavady Borough.

Speaking at the launch on Friday, PCSP Chair Councillor Brenda Chivers said: “This will be an important tool for us and enables us to offer information and signposting to young people, in order to engage them and encourage high levels of participation in the programme of youth initiatives that the PCSP delivers.”

Panels fitted on the sides of bin lorries are being used to advertise the website address and local schools are also being approached to promote the project.

Streetsofcage.com is an interactive website that will host details of forthcoming PCSP youth events and will be updated with photographs and video content on a regular basis.

The website is also linked to social media and has an integrated music player featuring popular Cage Sport tracks produced and performed by recently discovered BBC Introducing hip hop artist Gerard i2.
