Limavady PSNI give school firework safety talks

OVER the course of the past few weeks, specially trained local PSNI officers have been visiting schools in the Limavady borough to deliver firework safety talks.

The children have been given guidance on legislation and police powers, with the presentation culminating in a display detailing firework injuries in a rather graphic manner.

These photographs are shown only to children attending secondary and grammar schools, primary school children receive their information via a short film more suitable for their age.
