Litter louts hit with fixed penalty fines

Local councillors have been given an update on the latest enforcement action taken against litter louts and the owners of unlicensed dogs in the borough.

Figures for the period from August 24 to September 23 were presented to the October Environment Committee meeting. They show that four fixed penalty notices were issued for littering, four for unlicensed dogs and 14 notices for information were issued.

One prosecution was also taken by the council against a dog owner for not having a licence.
