Marathon effort in aid of Larne-based charity PIPS

I RECENTLY took part in the Larne half-marathon in aid of PIPS Larne and would like to thank the following people for their sponsorshp and support.

Thanks to the staff at Wincanton, especially to Stephanie Wickham and my daughter Caoimhe, James Clarke and members and patrons of Cairndhu Golf Club, Margaret McKeown, Martin McKay, my colleagues at Moyle Medical Centre and Lisgarel Residential Home and my friends and family.

I would also like to thank my friend Rhonda Wallace and her husband Jackie for their support with my training for the event.

The sum of £451 was raised, with a further £150 sponsorshp from Carol Goodall who took part in the half-marathon walk

A grand total of £601.00 was raised for PIPS which provides support for families affected by suicide.

Many thanks to everyone who sponsored both myself and Carol. Your support was greatly appreciated.
