Money for South Africa was ‘squandered’
SIR - I am outraged that five people from Ballymoney Council travelled to South Africa.
This was a total waste of money and it comes at a time when the money would have been better spent elsewhere in Ballymoney.
Ballymoney is on its knees and instead of squandering £4,500 to go on such a trip at a time when the town is going down it should have been spent more wisely.
There should be resignations over this and I have asked to personally meet the Mayor over the whole matter.
