New mobile library service at Carnlough

A new mobile library will be visiting Carnlough every Thursday.

The service will be available during refurbishment of the village library which is being carried out by the borough council in association with Libraries NI and is set to double the size of the facility.

The mobile library is a temporary service which will continue until completion of refurbishment in spring 2015.

It will be parked in the lay-by opposite the library building at Harbour Road and will be available from 10.00am until 4.00pm.

The mobile library is staffed by William Galloway who can offer a full range of books for children and adults. He will also be happy to take any requests for other stock during his visit.

The ‘Read and Go’ collection service is still available and operates from Carnlough Community Association premises, opposite the library and is open Monday to Friday, from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm.
