PCSP encouragepublic vigilance

Limavady Policing and Community Safety Partnership is urging local residents to be vigilant this Halloween to ensure that, while today’s Halloween festivities are enjoyed by everyone, criminal damage to the local environment is avoided.

PCSP Chair, Councillor Brenda Chivers commented “Parents are urged to know the whereabouts of their children to make sure they are not engaging in criminal damage to property.”

Vice-Chair Sam McGregor continued “We are fortunate in this borough to be surrounded by green space which we would ask people to respect, for the enjoyment of all. The destruction of trees which take several years to replace has a negative impact on the whole community.”
