Pet owners need to be responsible

I live in Glenholme Avenue where the gardens are open plan. Dog owners let their dogs out after dark and every morning a large pile of dog mess is in the same place in our front garden.

It is disgusting and my poor husband has to lift this mess as I am disabled. We have begged the housing association for fences to alleviate the matter but we’re always refused. So dog owners please take responsibility for walking and cleaning up your pets foul mess instead of leaving it to the elderly or disabled.

Superb to see new water main, public realm phase two and other road works in the town. Public realm phase one proved that the short-term disruption is worth it in the long run. The look and feel of Lurgan town centre ten times better now than even two-to-three years ago. Craigavon Resident
