Posties say huge thanks

SIR - Over the past few weeks in the Ballymoney area we have experienced treacherous wintry weather conditions on some of our roads.

Despite this the local postmen and women in Royal Mail’s Ballymoney Delivery Office have shown dedication and commitment in very difficult and potentially dangerous circumstances and really did go the extra mile to make it through the snow and ice to their customers’ front doors.

While making those deliveries many of our drivers experienced difficulties on the icy roads and I would like to thank those members of the public and those farmers, using their tractors, who helped push, pull and dig to get our vans back on the road again.

These acts of kindness are very much appreciated by both the individual postal workers and by Royal Mail.

Yours sincerely

Samuel Graham, Ballymoney Delivery Office Manager
