A report presented to members at their meeting on Monday, June 16 said: “Defects have been identified with the bitmac surface finish to the MUGA which forms part of the Leisure Park facility. To alleviate these problems and ensure it is safe to use, the surface will need to be replaced. The estimated cost of this work is up to £10,000, which can be accommodated from the original play area refurbishment budget.”

Committee members approved the spend without debate.
