Putting a spring in the gardener’s step
‘Getting Ready for Spring’ is the theme for tonight’s (Thursday’s) gardening talk tonight in St Colman’s Hall, Carrickfergus.
Carrickfergus Garden Society invites members of the public to the presentation by Averil Milligan, head gardener at the National Trust’s Rowallane Garden. Doors open at 7.30pm (8 o’clock start) with free parking available at the Larne Road location.
Established in 1955 to encourage amateur gardeners to improve and extend the cultivation of all horticultural subjects, the society meets every second Thursday of the month from October to April.
