Royal Wedding thanks for Glebe Association

Dear Sir, Could we take this opportunity to thank through the pages of your newspaper, the Glebeside Residents Committee and all those people who helped make the day of fun and celebration on the Royal Wedding day such an enjoyable occasion.

It was lovely to view the wedding on television, and then go and enjoy the fun and celebration at the Glebeside Royal party.

We appreciate all the hard work of the committee and those who gave refreshments at no charge to the public.

We also were so grateful for the way Mrs Agnes Taggart, aged 88 years, was looked after so kindly. We were impressed by all that took place, and just wanted to show our appreciation in writing
