Still waiting for dog fouling figures
I AM the person who some months ago on this page originally asked Lisburn City Council how many dog owners have in the last year been fined for not cleaning up after their dog when it fouls in a public.
I have waited patiently for an answer - but the request has been ignored. Another reader has recently likewise asked for an answer.
In another newspaper I noticed that in the last year seven councils in Northern Ireland did not issue a single fine for dog fouling, and five other councils each issued only one single fine. That article did not detail Lisburn City Council’s record.
People await Lisburn Council’s answer. Our health and safety are at stake.
