Stop anti social behaviour at the start

I was horrified last week after reading about the thugs throwing a brick at a train in Lambeg,

Then I read about bins in the same area being stolen and set on fire in Alberdelghy Park. I don’t know if the two incidents are connected, but it does suggest that what starts with ‘low level’ anti social behaviour can quickly escalate into something much more serious.

That’s why it is so important to stamp down on the bin burners and the youths who congregate in areas across Lisburn to drink and annoy residents who just want to live quietly.

You also have to wonder what is going through these ‘hoods’ heads when they drop a brick on a train?

It was dangerous and stupid and that driver could have been really hurt. Did they even think that they would be putting the lives of passengers in jeopardy too?

I wonder how they would feel if there had been a disaster?

I hope the police will be stepping up their presence. As the man whose bin was set on fire said, these issues must be nipped in the bud before they spirals out of control and these thugs think they can get away with anything.

I don’t know what age they are but they need to wise up or face the consequences.
