Storytime at Greenisland

Greenisland Library is hosting an event to encourage and inspire families participating in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.

A hour-long storytime and craft session for children between the ages of four and eight years will be held on Tuesday at 3.00pm.

According to Libraries NI, this is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed environment while parents and carers have the chance to socialise or get involved.

For those children who have taken part in the Mythical Maze Summer Reading Challenge, Greenisland will be holding a presentation of certificates and medals on Friday, September 5 at 4.00pm.

Booking is essential for these sessions, contact library staff as spaces are limited.

A statement from Libraries NI added: “You don’t have to be a library member to attend this session, but why not consider joining the library and using some of the other services available. It is free to join.”
