THE officers, committee and members of the Larne Royal British Legion Women’s Section would like to thank all involved who helped and attended our recent 85th anniversary celebrations that were held in the Larne Royal British Legion premises on Friday, January 13. This was a huge success and a very enjoyable evening was had by all.
We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the local and not so local businesses who very generously donated ballots for our fundraising purposes, especially P&O Irish Sea Ltd, the Clarion Carickfergus, Howdens (Top) Larne, Ballygally Castle Hotel, Larne Leisure Centre, Antrim Estates, Plata, McCoubrey and Woodsides, Haze No 10, Henderson Group (Spar), Down Royal racecourse, the Movie House, Larne Domino’s Pizza, Owen Donnelly Butchers, Chekkers Wine Bar, Apsley’s Newsagents and Carnfunnock Country Park and the local papers for their news and picture coverage.
