Village noticeboard gets council approval
The council’s Development Committee has agreed to pay around £1,000 towards the cost of installing a village noticeboard in Straid.
Similar lockable noticeboards have previously been erected in other rural areas such as Burnside and Ballyrobert.
The noticeboard will be installed, subject to agreement with residents regarding its location.
