We must never forget those who suffered

I WAS pleased to see in the last two weeks that Lisburn Council has remembered Joseph McIlwaine, the young UDR man shot dead while working at Aberdelghy, and the six soldiers killed by the IRA fun run bomb.

While it is right that we cannot dwell in the past, as evidenced by that handshake this week, nor should we every forget the suffering of so many.
