Sea Cadet thanks

Larne Sea Cadets would like to say a big thank you to those who donated £787 during their street collections on July 3 and 6 and also to those who donated £560 during their doorstep collections on September 23 to 27.

Larne Sea Cadets now accept girls and boys from 10 years of age who can attend the Dixon Hall, Drains Bay, each Thursday evening from 6pm, while the older Cadets from 12 years of age meet Mondays and Thursdays from 7.30pm.

Action Cancer collection

The members of the Larne Support Group for Action Cancer wish to thank those who gave of their time to help with our street collection on August 17.

The total donations on the day amounted to £641.30.

The continued support and generosity of the members of the Larne public is greatly appreciated as our charity celebrates 40 years of dedicated work and help for those affected by cancer across Northern Ireland.

May I, through your paper send out a big thank you to everyone who supported the Collection during the week beginning August 19.

A special thank you to the house-to-house and street collectors for all their hard work and commitment.

The total amount raised was £862.65, which will continue the caring work for seafarers around the world.
