Orange hall graffiti attack treated as '˜hate crime'

Police are appealing for information following a report of criminal damage to an Orange Hall in the Main Street area of Rasharkin overnight last night, Friday 19 February.

Inspector Samuel McConnell said: “Shortly before 2.30am this morning a police patrol discovered that graffiti had been painted on the walls of an Orange Hall.

“This incident is being treated as a hate crime and I would ask anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area or who has any information to contact police at Coleraine Station on 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
