Outlook hold successful quiz night

Outlook, an organisation set up to promote social and cultural activities amongst blind and partially sighted people in the Lisburn area, recently held what’s since been hailed a very successful Quiz and Stew Night.

“What an evening it was.,” a spokesperson said. “There was a great crowd of more than 80 people, great craic and over a whopping £1,000 was raised throughout the night.

“Thank-you to everyone who came and participated. Thanks to those who donated such generous ballot gifts, both individuals and businesses.

“Urban Serenity Natural Health Clinic, Cafe Thyme, John M Hanna, Del Toro Steak House & Urban Grill and Eden Beauty all donated great prizes.

“It was a hugely encouraging turn-out and great awareness was raised of their work.

More events like this should be organised in the near future . . .”
