Outstanding GCSE results for Dalriada School pupils

YEAR 12 pupils at Dalriada School have achieved an outstanding set of GCSE results, maintaining the high standards of previous years.

An impressive 29 pupils obtained eight or more A* or A grades, and of these, 18 pupils obtained nine A* or A grades each. Two pupils, Rachel Love and Sarah McQuillan achieved the top grade of A* in all nine subjects, a superb achievement. One in four pupils from the school have obtained eight A* or A grades.

Mr. Tom Skelton, Headmaster, commented on how this completes a remarkable series of results for the school at A2, AS and now GCSE level. He congratulated the pupils on their achievements and also acknowledged the supportive efforts of parents and teachers. The results reinforce Dalriada's position as one of the top academic schools in the Province.
