Over 200 objections to Broughshane housing plan

Planners have approved a proposed residential housing development in Broughshane despite receiving 233 letters of objection.

They also received two petitions of objection to the application of Robert Ross which centres on lands opposite Rossland Park, Knowehead Road. and proposes the development of seven detached dwellings and eight semi-detached dwellings with associated site works.

While Cllr Sam Hanna welcomed the approval when it came before councillors, Cllr Audrey Wales sought an MLA meeting supported by Cllrs. McCaughey, Maguire, B. Henry, Clyde and Digney.
