Over £5,000 raised for Dougie

A fundraising table quiz was recently held in Moyola Golf Club and raised over £5,000.

The aim of the event was to collect funds for Dougie Wylie who is suffering a Rare Brain Disease called Isolated NeuroSarcaoidosis.

Dougie’s sister Sharlene Hunter said: “We are deeply overwhelmed with the turnout we had and the unbelievable amount raised - £5897.28.

“Again we just want to thank Moyola Golf Club for there friendly hospitality, Sam Crossett the Quiz Master, to all the businesses who kindly donated gifts for the event and to the public who has supported us. Words cannot express how much we appreciate everything at this time.”
