Time leaves its blessings along life’s way
Let the day bring what it will;
Content in every situation to leave
All things to God’s utmost skill.
Train your mind to gather happiness Whether you rise or fall
In all circumstances let’s remember the Lord
Holds the answer to them all.
And as you fix your attention on Him
Calmness you feel midst the disarray
Also the grace and strength to sustain
Through every event of the day.
Press on though driving winds prevail
Over circumstances we have little command
Yes, keep on building, the Master said
He would never let go your hand.
