Over the limit driver disqualified
A man who had a drink at a friend's house was just over the limit when stopped by police at Ballymena's Raceview Road on October 21.
Adam Jacek Zalewski (50), of Tullymore Dale, Broughshane, had an alcohol/breath reading of 42/35.
At Ballymena Magistrates Court, District Judge Peter King said it was not the highest level of alcohol but, “that said”, there had to be a period of disqualification and the minimum period is a year. The defendant was also fined £200.
