Packed 2015 ahead for the Burnavon theatre

The Burnavon’s spring programme is jam-packed with a range of concerts and plays from January to May, including the return of old favourites, The Elvis Spectacular and ‘Give My Head Some Peace Live’.

‘Dirty Dancin in le Shebeen’ the much anticipated sequel to ‘50 shades of Red, White and Blue’ comes to the Burnavon on February 7, 2015.

The play sees the lovable Maggie Muff back with a bang along side her partner-in-crime, Big Sally-Ann. The estate has just recovered from their last misadventure, but the pair are set to cause more chaos when they decide to plan a birthday party.

Big Sally-Ann’s dream is to dance the last dance from ‘Dirty Dancing’, but no rhythm and no dress, her dreams start to crumble.

Luckily Maggie comes to the rescue but things do not run smoothly in ‘The Muff’s’ world...

Elvis fans will be happy to hear TBC Productions are presenting ‘The Elvis Spectacular’, in February 2015.

Gene Doucette, the original Elvis costumier is designing the costumes, starring European Champion 2012, Elvis tribute artist, Ciaran Houlihan with his TBC Band and The Sweet Sensations, the Elvis Spectacular returns.

The two hour show will take the audience through The King’s career, from his Army years to his leather-clad ‘68 Comeback Special.

Ulster’s favourite dysfunctional family comes to the Burnavon, with ‘Give My Head Peace Live’ on February 20.

Featuring up to the minute satire and hilarious stand-up from Tim McGarry, laughter is guaranteed!

March brings even more fun and entertainment, with ‘More Power To Your Elbow’ celebrating the release of their new album, ‘until the last night fades.’

The eight piece international Celtic rock band from the Mid Ulster area is set to rock Cookstown on March 13.

The band have been on the go for twenty years or so and with a lively set of gigs reels and songs, this energentic bunch is certainly set to entertain audiences.
