‘Paddle the Bann’ for UCF
THE Ulster Cancer Foundation (UCF) is encouraging people to register for their latest sporting challenge where you can take part in its sponsored ‘Paddle the Bann’ challenge while raising vital funds for local cancer patients and their families.
A fleet of canoes will take to the River Bann for the fun two day charity challenge on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May 2012. Adventurous participants will enjoy canoeing 58km downstream as far as Coleraine, paddling for around 5 hours per day, with wild camping overnight on the banks of the River Bann.
