Paddy Glasgow ‘Promoter of the Year’?

Popular promoter Paddy Glasgow has been nominated for the ‘Promoter of the Year’ award at the UK Festival Awards.

His festival, ‘Glasgobury’ has also been nominated in the ‘Best Small Festival’ category of the prestigious awards.

Congratulating Mr Glasgow on the nominations, Culture Minister Carál Ní Chuilín said: “To be the only north of Ireland nomination in these awards is a great accomplishment for Paddy and his team. He is up against some companies who promote internationally renowned artists.

“Once again, this places the north of Ireland in the limelight and with some of the elite in the music promotion business. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Paddy and the ‘Glasgowbury’ team the best of luck for the award ceremony.”

The winners will be announced at an award ceremony at the Roundhouse in London on 2 December.
