Pair arrested after cannabis plants are found in Coleraine

Police in Coleraine have arrested two men and recovered cannabis plants valued at around £3,500 following a search in the Mount Street on Tuesday afternoon.

Inspector Tony Boyce said: “The men, aged 25 and 40 were arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis, possession of a class B drug and possession with intent to supply.

“They have been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
