Pair arrested over Portrush assault
Police arrested two men on suspicion of theft and assault following an incident at a garage on the Bushmills Road, Portrush on the morning of Tuesday 13 January.
Inspector Tony Boyce said: “Officers responded to a 999 call in around 7 minutes and arrested the 20 year old and 18 year old men.
“They were arrested on suspicion of theft from the garage and assaulting a staff member.
“The staff member did not receive serious injuries during the incident.
Inspector Boyce concluded: “The investigation into the matter is continuing.”
