Pair cut from car following Donaghmore collision

A pensioner and a man in his 20s had to be cut from their vehicle following a two-car RTC in the Donaghmore area.

Firefighter had to use cutting equipment to release the 67-year-old woman and 28-year-old man before they were transported to Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance last Wednesday.

NIFRS were called to the scene at around 9.20pm on Febraury 8.

A statement said: "NIFRS responded to a road traffic collision involving two cars at Tullycullion Road, Donaghmore, Dungannon.

"Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to release a 67-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man from a vehicle.

"Both casualties were taken to the Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance. Fire crews from Dungannon station attended the incident."
