Palliative care event
The Transforming Your Palliative and End of Life Care Programme is hosting a workshop on Tuesday March 4 1.30pm-4.30pm in Seagoe Parish Centre.
Organisers want to involve people who have an illness which cannot be cured and those who care for them.
Angela McVeigh, co-chair of the programme Southern Locality Board and Director of Older People and Primary Care for the Southern Trust explained: “The Transforming Your Palliative and End of Life Care Programme, an initiative by Marie Curie, aims to enable people to have choice in their place of care when they are living with an illness which cannot be cured and may limit or shorten their life.
