Cinderella, starring Olivia Nash (Ma from Give My Head Peace) as one of the ugly sisters, is being staged in the Braid Theatre, Ballymena, by the C21 theatre company.

With three shows every day, six days a week, from December 6-23, Pamela will be working flat-out and has had to ask a stand-in teacher to take her daily classes.

She said, “It’s a great opportunity for me. There is so much competition in Northern Ireland for these director roles and I am really delighted.”

Pamela, who has worked with the theatre company for the past two years as assistant director and choreographer, is in charge of six actors and 10 dancers.

She also has a talented team of assistants with wide-ranging experience. She said, “There is a set designer, lighting designer and costume designer, and the musical director has written the music for Pride and Prejudice that’s currently on at the Lyric and is also musical director for the Waterfront and in the West End.”

Pamela has also starred in four different pantomimes.
