Pamela was named Northern Ireland’stop doctor in 2008

She was nominated by the Northern Ireland Medical Review magazine along with two other doctors in the category of GP of the Year for the province.

She was then voted for by colleagues and patients at her practice at

Portrush Medical Centre.

She received the award at the Europa Hotel in Belfast in a ceremony attended by the then First Minister, Dr Ian Paisley and the Health Minister, Michael McGimpsey.

Her award citation read: “Dr Pamela Logue has been a member of the Northern Local Medical Committee and it is within this role that she has campaigned for enhanced conditions for colleagues and better services for patients.

“Dr Logue has been nominated, in part, for her outstanding attitude with patients and dedication and hard work which often goes “beyond the call of duty”. #

Her additional work includes promoting the flu vaccination for patients and she acts on a number of groups, including Causeway Prescribing Group.”
